BEST SKINCARE (BEAUTY) ROUTINE

A good skincare routine makes you fall in love with your skin. Makeup and foundations become optional for the day. Just the glow and the smoothness of your skin become magnificent.

But the question is, how does one achieve a flawless radiant skin following a best skincare routine?

Facial steam massage

Give your face a steam massage in circular motions while you in the shower once a week, you will certainly fall in love with your skin.

Steaming helps to regulate blood circulation while opening your skin pores for cleansing impurities which might be stuck in the pores. 

Clogged pores leads to acne and skin breakouts therefore, once in a while its wiser to make sure that your skin pores are well cleansed. 

It also helps your skin to absorb your desired skincare products much better.

How to do it

  1. Bring water to boil, just enough of your desired amount
  2. Tie your hair back and gently cleanse your face using an exfoliating cleanser to remove any impurities and makeup before steaming. Do dry it after wards
  3. Carefully pour boiled water in your steaming bowel or bucket
  4. Add your desired essential oil, I usually love lavender or chamomile for relaxation
  5. Hold your face 6 inches over the steam with your eyes closed and with a fluffy big towel over your head for about 5 to 10 minutes
  6. Afterwards soothe a mask over your face preferably a clay mask to draw out all the impurities. You can let your clay mask sit for about 10 to 15 minutes onto your face and do rinse afterwards with a warm water.
  7. Face steaming enlarges skin pores, therefore you can minimize them by applying a toner after rinsing off your face mask. If you don`t have a toner you can use cold water it still minimizes your pores. 
  8. Afterwards do moisturize your face to keep it well hydrated


TIP- 1. for masking you can use honey if you don’t have a clay mask
        2. For toning you can use diluted lemon juice or diluted apple cider vinegar

NOTE **** with homemade ingredients always do a patch test before use in its entirety. 

NOTE **** If you suffer from Rosacea or any serious skin condition its always wiser to consult your dermatologist before trying a facial steaming at home.


Use a washcloth soaked in hot water for exfoliation

Soak your washcloth ( preferably a baby washcloth because its fibers are less abrasive onto your skin) in hot water and massage your face in upwards circular motion to reduce skin ageing (wrinkles). 
You do have full control of the pressure you apply onto your skin while exfoliating using a wash cloth, therefore do it gently.

Charcoal sheet face mask

Charcoal sheet face mask detoxifies your skin by absorbing skin impurities, oil and toxins while clearing your pores and making them smaller. Also, it exfoliates your skin.

  

The beauty of a charcoal sheet face mask is its ability to even out your skin tone, control skin oiliness, reducing the intensity of blackheads, acne and skin breakouts. 

So if you have an oily skin which is very troublesome you can give a charcoal sheet mask a goal. 

Maybe that`s a miracle you might have been waiting for. 

You certainly must include them in your skincare routine if you really want to fall in love with your skin.

Use a charcoal sheet face mask onto your face and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

SKINCARE DIET

Your skin is always a mirror of what’s going on inside your body. A good beauty diet plays a magnificent role in nourishing your skin and give it a desirable health appearance you have always yearned for. 



I regard skin care diet as the secret to skin beauty without any use of harsh chemicals onto your skin. For example;

Drinking barley tea fortifies your skin and your well-being. It contains anti-oxidants which are an essential for every skincare diet.

Drinking green tea helps to detoxify your skin, reduce wrinkles and increase your skin’s elasticity. It contains antioxidants which are an essential for every skincare diet. 

Antioxidants in green tea will help your skin to look young and healthy while rejuvenating your skin complexion.

Overnight facial mask

Overnight facial masks give your skin a glowing, radiant, smooth effect while rejuvenating your skin beauty. 

It wipes away all the weekly dullness which might have resulted through stress, inadequate sleep and various weather effects. 

By the time you rinse your face in the morning, it would have been well hydrated and rejuvenated. 

Ideally you can use your overnight mask two to three times a week. 

You really don`t have to worry yourself about messing your pillows while you are asleep because overnight facial mask quickly absorb onto your skin surface once applied.
