SKINCARE TIPS FOR AN ACNE PRONE SKIN

I do have an oily skin which is prone to acne and the following practices have helped to reduce the outbreak of acne on my face also, easing down the stress I go through during an acne breakout.

You can try out these practices on your skin care journey of fighting acne breakouts

Gentle Cleanse your face twice a day

Gentle cleanse your face two times per day, usually morning and evening using a foaming facial cleanser. 

Foaming cleansers cleanse away all the excess oiliness on your face without stimulating the oil glands, causing skin dryness and increasing redness thereby leaving your skin clean and fresh.

After working out clean your body to remove any sweat. Leaving sweat on your skin leads to acne breakouts and its irritating.

Don’t go to bed with make-up

With those busy schedules, sometimes it feels like climbing a mountain to remove make-up before bed. The body will be yearning to rest without any disturbances. However, going to bed with your make-up on is never a good idea.

Sleeping with your makeup on causes your skin pores to be more and more clogged and we all know that clogged skin pores are bad news, they result in the development of acne.


Clay Masks

Clay masks help to purify your skin by detoxifying the skin and drawing out impurities from your skin pores and absorbing excess oil from your skin without leaving your skin dehydrated.
