Eco beauty is all about an equilibrium between a healthy skin care routine and the environment. Our environment yearn for as much beautification as we give to our skin. There have never been a present moment like this when mother earth needs the most healing.

Going organic is no longer enough, one needs an Eco beauty routine. 

Purchase or use recyclable skin care tools

It is estimated that every year 8 million tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean and more than 100 000 sea life die from eating plastic waste. As predicted, by 2050 sea life might be extinct if we continue disposing plastic waste wrongfully. 

We all love fish and it contains omega 3 and 6 fatty acids which is very essential for our skin care diet. Hence we have to move to recyclable skin care beauty tools to preserve sea life.

Purchase and use beauty tools made from recyclable materials, for example make-up brush made from bamboo with synthetic fibers. When your makeup is used up drop it in the recycle bin for recycling. Also purchase from brands that use recyclable containers like glass which is easy to recycle, you can as well use the container for some other purposes like DIY holder.

You can purchase reusable cotton for removing makeup. After a long day from work you will probably be tired and washing your face might be the last thing in your mind, just saturate one of your cotton pad with your favorite make-up remover cleanser and see the magic. Obviously, it would remove make-up the same way it would have done if you had washed your face with water and cleanser. As soon as you are done take your reusable pads for washing, and they would become clean and new again.

Water wastage - Always remember to turn the faucet off 

To preserve every drop while washing your face, splash few water droplets onto your face just enough to make it wet and apply your cleanser. 

Massage your cleanser in circular motion onto your face remembering to keep the faucet off. 

Turn the faucet on and rinse your face.

TIP--- washing your face in circular motion will slow down your skin from aging.
